before you board…

Can I bring children?

We love your children, but we have opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

How will I get to Castello di Meleto?

We will arrange a bus to transport people on Friday September 18th (check-in day) from Florence. We will let you know the time and location as well. If you choose to rent a car or organize your own transport, that is completely fine. We will collect travel information from all guests and provide details regarding transportation arrangements closer to the wedding date. Please stay tuned for updates on our website.

When should I arrive in Italy?

Since the wedding weekend begins on Friday, we highly recommend flying in earlier and not the day of. Allow yourself a day to conquer any jet lag and rest. Florence is also a very lovely city to explore prior to the festivities.

When should I book my flight?

You have plenty of time. We suggest to start monitoring flight prices 8 months prior. You can set “google flights” alerts to send you price updates. In our experience, booking around 6 months prior tends to be the best sweet spot.

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

We have paid for a professional photographer to capture our ceremony. We ask that you turn off your electronics during the ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographer. After the ceremony is complete and we have exited the isle, you may turn on your devices and take photos of whatever you wish!
